Anyway,
My free time today had been mostly filled with watching videos of people singing. First I got stuck watching all Leona Lewis's performances on 2006 X Factor. And then, I got hooked with all the karaoke/instrumental versions of my favourite songs (all of them involves high notes and amazingly crazy vocals, which I don't have). And you wouldn't wanna be in the same room as me when I got hooked with karaoke-ing. And then, I watched this amazing Philippino kid Charice Pempengco. Her voice is phenomenal!

And after that I got realistic and sang Ashily - Lucky. I think I did very well cewah. Hahaha. I even thought about recording it and send it to Umar. Hahahahha what a joke. Naseb baek tak buat kalau tak memang kene bahan la.

If I have a voice like Leona or Charice, I wouldn't waste my time studying things that I don't really enjoy learning. But then again, if you have a high level of education, people will respect you more. I'm just sayin'.

If I have been granted 1 wish that allows me to combine features and body parts and personality to form a person (or myself), here are the stuff that I think I will put together :

Things I've learnt today :

1. People can do extraordinarily ridiculous things when they're feeling insecure/threatened/or so they thought. Haha.
2. Boys can be quite slow sometimes.
3. Girls are complicated, thus #2.
4. Snow = slippery. Not good for the uncoordinated. *wink wink* Hahaa
5. Air mata senjata perempuan. And some people use it everytime.
6. Kinder Bueno white = FTW!
7. Hating and scheming people won't get you anywhere.

Recipe

To make Hannah, you'll need all these main ingredients first. You can add whatever you like afterwards, if you please.

awful.stubborn.disobedient.rebellious.sleepyhead.lazybum.chickenshit.hothead.fugly.inconsiderate. crybaby.ungrateful.horrible.

So,take these ingredients and just throw it in boiling water and stir until all those blend together to form a greenish ogre-ish liquid. Then, pour into a bowl, or basin, or whatever and shove it in the oven, preheat at 200 degrees prior to that. Wait for a good 30 minutes and voila! Decorate with As-syaitaniah if desired. You'll get something like this :))


If you don't like how it tastes, just throw it away in your largest and stinkiest bin in the house :D

Hahahhaha. I was in a state of fury when I was beginning to write this but now that the post is complete it's become kinda funny. This is nothing serious. Hazim's keeping a new pet now and it's a lizard. It's pretty much the same size as the common lizards but it's got webbed feet. How disgusting is that? And it feeds on crickets. And the crickets need to be fed as well, ia makan dedak ayam. Lengkap food chain. -_-"

Videocalled Dad and still-sleepy-faced Mom just now and they suggested for me to start looking for a job now. Even the thought of it was quite frightening. Cakap English pon past tense present tense bertabur. I wonder if it's easy to hunt for a job here in England.

I'm having dinner at 2.18 in the morning sambil tengok anime yang sangat kelakar rase macam nak terkeluar noodles dari hidong. Yes, I'm eating instant noodles, 2 packets of them and using a small teaspoon because I'm waaaay too lazy to go downstairs to the kitchen to get a proper fork and spoon. Imagine how long it'll take me to finish eating up all the noodles + the soup.

The letter 'F' dah tercabot. So now you how hard it is for me to write the post title and also my name and oh, it is hard jugak nak type assignments haha. If the F tak tercabot, my Twitter name would've been farahhannahnoormohd. That would piss my friends off. Hahah. Not only that, my PC's full of viruses and as a result, it is super lembab, always not responding, bile shutdown die switch on sendiri balek because the Windows Vista dah corrupted(the first this happened I got VERY freaked out and I was like, "eh,aku rase aku tekan shutdown,bukannye restart" *bulu roma meremang*) hahahah. I would get it reformatted but since a few minutes without a computer drives me crazy, so I decided to just let it be. Haha. Haih, I think I need a new laptop but it's not that critical pon. Haritu I tried hinting to my mom through Andi, then Mama asked me, "Akak nak laptop baru?" and I went, "ehh tadekla, akak maen2 je. Andi la ni bagitau..hishh." and then she replied "fuhh, lega"

Do they really exist?

Every girl is currently swooning an drooling over Robert Pattinson a.k.a the infamous vampire, Edward Cullen (as if everyone doesn't know who he is, Hannah). I'm not one of them. I'm still drooling over Harry Potter and anything that smells like chicken. So, one thought came to me while I was chatting with Muya on Facebook. Maybe if I try watching Twilight again, maybe, just maybe, I'll get caught in the Edward frenzy as well. And so I downloaded Twilight and watched.

Nothing happened. Hahaha. Edward's really good-looking and sweet and not to mention sparkly, but I don't know, I just don't feel the love. Haha. That's fortunate because if I did feel the love then I would have to compete with Muya, Edward's current girlfriend.

Although I'm not into him but I like the fact that he doesn't have the strength to stay away from Bella. Awwww. I don't think girls can find guys like Edward roaming the streets nowadays, can we? Haha. No offense, guys..if there are guys reading my blog. And I thought I'd came up with a list of type of guys who I don't think are easy to find:

I was bored doing the stupid 2000 words essay so I took a break. My wallet happened to be on the table and so I rummaged through it. I'm not sure if "rummaging" is the suitable word for what I did. Basically I took everything out from the pockets in my wallet. You guys get what I mean, kan?
And now I wished I didn't do what I just did because I felt a big whoosh of homesickness falling onto me and it won't go away. And knowing the fact that everyone has got plans for the winter break and I got none, adds up the feeling of pathetic-ness. It's either they have plans for the winter break to go for vacations or their parents are coming to visit. I have neither! Pfftt. Hahaa. Three weeks of winter break and all I have in my plans is to roam around London. Again. Attiyaa's gone to Spain, Yana has to babysit her cousins, Aino, Oggy, and Aisya's parents are coming kalau tak silap, Belle's going home gile besttt, Bella is going to Scotland, Nadia's parents are coming too, I don't know what the guy from Exeter are doing this winter, Kak Ijun tak same cuti plak, and that leaves Ridhwan and Sharir. Tah2 diorang pon ade plan. Takpelah, study for finals la for three weeks. :-B *nerd icon*

I miss you Ayah. And I miss home. Can I pleeeease go home? Or can you pleeeease let Andi & Ajim come this winter break?

Dream

I dreamed of something very weird last night, I dreamed of Harry Potter. It wasn't a dream like I was a third person and saw Harry Potter, but I WAS Harry Potter last night. Macam Harry mimpi he was Nagini. Hahhahaha. It wasn't a pleasant dream, I was in a battle (more like run and hide) with Voldy and the dream was actually frightening. Voldy CAN fly and he has a very dry sense of humour, which also makes him scarier. There was this one part where I was hiding underneath a row of golden books, and then Voldy and a Death Eater sort of found out I was there and Voldy was tickling me with a ruler, to make me laugh or fidget. -_-"........ Straange..

I was frightened and exhausted because I had to run and he could just flew around. But lastly, a Death Eater told Voldy that someone had found a golden sword and that drove him away and I had my chance to escape so I climbed up a torch that protruded from a brick wall. For some reason I did a lot of climbing in this dream and I don't think Harry Potter is that strong. Hahahha.

OK, enough about dreaming, I have a 2000 words essay draft to finish. Reality sucks.

Cut my hair :) Just the front. So I got a bang/fringe now. Didn't plan to make it to a bang though. The longer I stare at my bangs in the mirror, the more I realise that it looks like Sandra D's bang. HAHAH

Well not that short. And not that well cut, obviously. Ayah cakap, "macam budak baik, hehehe"

But at least mine doesn't look like his. Haha.

I got the blonde streak out from my hair, finally. It's very fortunate that my hair turned out normal. So, sape-sape nak potong rambut? Rambut depan jela.

I saw this when I was browsing for uninteresting books in the library.
This is one of my many shots because it was hard to get a very clear picture without looking too obvious.
I sort of hugged the book and pretended that I was reading a message when suddenly 'click' and I was like, booyah I'm a great actress, until I realised there was a Chinese guy in one of the aisle next to me.

Epic WIN

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
crappy quality video.

This has been my all-time favourite movie. It's about Victorian Era superheroes, being recruited by a guy named 'M' to combat a power-hungry enemy (Fantom), which in the end turned out to be M himself.

The best part is this movie combines the works of infamous writers like Bram Stoker, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Herman Melville, Oscar Wilde and Edgar Allan Poe.. and that is why this movie is superwickedbloodykickin'awesome. Ade Dorian Gray, Mina Harker, Dr Jekyll and My Hyde, Allan Quatermain, Captain Nemo and Tom Sawyer. Best kan...ok tak. The 2nd best part is Sean Connery pelat 'S'. "The game...ish on" and "Thish ish Africa, shweating ish what we do" hahahha.

This movie, I think, will bore some people to death but I know Nurfalihin won't mind watching it since she thinks all movies are awesome. Haha. All I'm saying is, this movie is my kind of movie. And so are Changeling (tengok 100 kali pon tak bosan kot), Sweeney Todd, Pirates of the Carribean, Queen of the Damned, Valkyrie, Public Enemies (ni Loyah tak suke. Haha) and all those movies that Seming would most probably won't put in her to-watch list. Anything from the 18th century and 20's,30's,40's,50's is fine by me. Old-fashioned? Agakla. Cantek ape baju dulu-dulu. Nak pakai skirt kene ade rangka die dulu. Barula vintage. Haha.

Feline and cooking

Since I was little, there was never a time when my house is cat-less.
After one is gone, then came another.
That's why, maybe, I have this healthy obsession towards cats.
The absence of a kitty here doesn't affect me as much as the absence of a computer does, but still, rase macam nak kuceng.

If I have a cat, it wouldn't be as much quiet in my room as it is now, except for the sound of me typing, yawning, sighing, swearing at the book, slapping my forehead, and out-of-key singing.

But I know there's a lot of trouble that I should look out for if I decided to keep a cat.

A question for girls out there:

How do you force yourself into liking to cook? Or why do you like doing it?

Some people are not that well in cooking but they like it and they never get bored doing it. I don't like it and easy food are always easy to find, so I don't see the point of it. For now. Haha. They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. But they didn't say that you have to cook for the food. Domino's ade, McDonalds ade. And if you're bored with fast food, kedai soto seksyen 8 offers the best variety of lauk that you can find. Hahaaa. Yela tau la, air tangan sendiri lagi sedap. I know my air tangan is useful when cooking instant food oh yeah. Takpe kan makan instant food tiap-tiap hari, abang? Hahahah

Hose and Bike

Something terrible happened to me yesterday.

I was on my way home to Roberts Way from a new friend's house sebab dia buat open house. (Thanks a lot Bel and Taufiq, although you're not reading my blog la kan). Aku naek basikal Aisya sebab bas lambat gila nak sampai and I know there will be a lot of drunk guys and gals up on the bus because it was already 10.30PM and it was a Saturday night. A perfect time for me to go home alone, kan? Haha. Stupid me. No, dumb is more like it.

Anyway, as I was cycling on the side walk at the right side of the road, aku nampak la ade sorang mat salleh laki ni macam tengah tuang air kat tepi tu. And it was as if he's holding something long, something like a pipe. You guys figured it out yet? As I went nearer to him, I saw that he was actually peeing and his _______ was ______ long. And he said to me, "Hello there, lovely day."DISGUSTING. Aku elak la kan, turun from the side walk pastu cycle kat jalan raya. It was kinda funny and friggin' scary at the same time. I was so lucky that he didn't turn around and fire his 'hose' at me. Memang kene samak/sertu/whatever la kan.

I thought I was gonna be safe after that. I thought wrong, apparently. Some dude, I dunno if he's drunk or sober, shouted at me but I couldn't hear him. Not because it wasn't understandable but it was because I didn't focus on my surrounding at that time. All I want, is to get back home away from all those drunk bastards. Dia jerit, aku tak dengar. Fine. Tiba-tiba, aku dengar ada orang lari-lari kat belakang aku. And I looked to my right, the same guy who shouted at me was jogging beside me and asked me if he could have Aisya's bike. And I said no. He asked me why and I said it's because the bike isn't mine. Luckily after that, he slowed down, thanked me, tapped me on the back with his finger (I think so. I soo hope that he didn't use a beer bottle). Some of you might ask," Why didn't you cycle faster?" SUMPAH TAK LARAT NAK KAYUH LAGI LAJU.I don't know why I answered his questions but I think it's the same case as Jasmin Anis being silly playing Q&A with Encik Rosli's 'creditor'. Babe, one thing in common, both of us can be a little bit jammed up here in our heads sometimes. Well I got jammed more often than you la kan obviously.

Alhamdulillah tu je yang jadi. I can't imagine what else they can do to me.

Yep, lesson learned. Definitely.

No wandering outside of the house after it gets dark.
If you wanna be safe on Saturday nights, stay home. Or maybe go to ASDA.

Oh, Ogay(Haha.style kan eje mcm ni?), Aisya and I went shopping yesterday at a carboot sale in Elstree. For some reason, we miscalculated the distance from Roberts Way (my house) and Elstree. We thought Elstree was in the outskirts of Hatfield, which means that if we go there by the 3-pounds-all-in-Hatfield cab, it'll still be cheap. Sekali, amek ko. Roberts Way pegi Elstree 20minutes. Pastu cab tu taktau die isi pakai minyak ape meter naek laju nak mam. Tambang? Murah je. 26.90pounds. Dah la dengan si driver tak habes-habes cakap kitorang tak reti nak convert RM into 'british money'. Haha. bak kate Aniur, Sharir dan Oggy, "Teralur lulur di situ."

We arrived at the carboot sale at about 11 lebeih nak dekat pukol 12 kot. Carboot ends at 1pm. "Cantek." Dapat beli 2 dress nenek-nenek atau dalam bahase coolnye, vintage dresses and two pairs of shoes.

Ni Oggy kate buat terompah pegi bilik air. Nampak macam orang kaya.

I was happy when I get to buy this pair of wedges! But later I found out that one of the pair is missing a string/strap/whatever. So I cut the strap of the other pair in half and make a new strap (but shorter) for the strapless pair! *pardon my grammatical errors*

I don't know why on Earth I buy this dress. Naseb baek dah pakai okay.

I like this one. Macam baju kat blog Dayah. Haha.

We went to Oxford Street afterwards and on our way, miracle happened. When we touched our Oyster cards against the thingamagiggy in the bus (for the bus fare), nothing happened. By 'nothing happened' I mean, our credits in our Oyster cards weren't deducted. So FREE ride all the way from Edgware to Oxford Circus. It doesn't sound like it's a big deal, but when you're here, 26.90pounds for a taxi ride is ridiculous. Boleh beli banyak KFC kot, and bayangkan brape lame bleh karok dengan duet tu kalau dah convert jadi RM. It got me thinking, "ni mesti berkat bayar taxi mahal-mahal tadi."

Info tambahan: Hasil pertanyaan si driver taxi, kami dapat mendiscover maksud nama Ahmad Fahim iaitu good and understand. Duhhh. Hahahha. Macam Ahmad Faham je.

I should be reading my Advanced Corporate Reporting (ACR) articles now but penangan 2 pinggan nasik goreng makes me sleeeeeeeeeeeeepy. Kalau kene Milo McD memang goodbye la articles.

The Nightmare Begins

I've attended my first ever lecture in UH. Advanced Corporate Reporting. Bunyi macam terer. Beforehand, I'm excited as hell.. until I saw the lecture slides. They weren't slides that lecturers in UiTM normally distribute to their students, you know the slides where you have ALL your notes there ready for you. The slides merely contain some key points from the lecture which I have a very hard time understanding them. Of course I blame the 2months vacation my brain had since my last lesson. Was it 2 months or more? Meh, more or less, my brain seems to be in extreme shock that it starts to vomit information the moment I read the first few sentences on the slides. Poor little brain of mine. I hope it didn't shrink. Yet.

The lecturer Helen Wagner was as strict as McGonagall and she has a stare that strongly reminds me of Miss Trunchbull (if you've seen Matilda, you'd know Miss Trunchbull) and she hates latecomers. Haha. Still, having her as my lecturer didn't scare me much. What I'm scared of is the coursework. It's nothing like the ones I did back in UiTM. Mase kat UiTM, boleh tiru je buku text takpon slides lecturer bagi. Kat sini harapan lah. Wagner told plagiarisms aren't at all allowed and if caught doing it, you'd be expelled...? Ntahlah, that's what I've heard. Plus, Wagner kept asking the students about what they've learned in the second year and about the current financial issues. By then, I realized how ignorant I am when it comes to financial news and issues. Sigh kenape la tak baca surat kaba.

Maddeningly confusing

How can you be the reason I cry and yet you're the person that I'll find to seek comfort?

I hope life's not a big joke 'cuz seriously, I don't get it.

I'm so bloody mad right now. I know it's more or less because of my PMS but PMS never bothers me as much as this. I don't know for how much longer I can hold my tongue and shut up.

This is a time-turner. The one that Hermione used to get Harry and herself back in time, to mend some mistakes.

I bet loads of people want this thingamagiggy, too.

Because everybody has their own regrets, their own mistakes in the past that they wish, with all their might, they can erase. By doing so, they can clear their conscience, make themselves happy, make other people happy as well. Deontology principal. Haha.

That's when a time-turner comes in handy.
You just wear the bloody thing like a necklace, turn the winder a few times and voila! Mistakes corrected. Regrets erased.

If people can turn back time, it can be considered that everybody had never made a mistake and everybody will never make a mistake. Thus, no one will learn.
If people can turn back time, the world will be perfect.
If people can turn back time, no one will die of frustration and depression.
If people can turn back time, you might not even been born.
If people can turn back time, dinosaurs will roam freely in this world like cats and dogs. Rawr.
I have no idea what dinosaurs have to do with this post tapi suka hati la kan. =]

I would say that there's something I regret doing in my past. I friggin' wish that time-turner will exist soon. PLEASE. But in the mean time, I'll just have to live with it because honestly, there's nothing I can do to make it disappear.
