Asians

I hate Financial Strategy.
It's hard to understand.
It requires a LOT of reading.
The tutorial is torturing, well, kinda.
The lectures are boring.
The lecture slides are dull and flat and grey and unattractive
The lecturer, well..
His name is Edward Lee
He's always dressed up in a freshly pressed suit and trousers
He's got a funny English accent, which I love so much
He said money like 'monnneyh' and earnings like 'earnnnings'
Alah xbes do tulis, kene cakapp.
His hair is always neatly combed back
He looks like a Chinese mafia, or a manager in a hotel in Genting Highlands
Yes, he's boring and his lectures sometimes make you wanna commit suicide
But one thing about him is that he makes me feel like home
Maybe it's because he's Asian.
Stupid reason it may be but that's how I feel.
I wonder why Charles doesn't affect me the way Edward Lee does.
Charles is the guy who lives next 2 doors from my room, came from China, and is the bahan menganjeng for Aino and Sharir. Ridwan tak, Ridwan baek. Hahah.
And there's another Charles, room no 4, yang sepatotnye buang sampah hari Kamis tapi tak pernah buang pastu orang room no 5, which is me kene buang sampah yang banyak gile. Well, he definitely won't remind me of home at all.

I've been feeling rather homesick lately
I think one of the reason is because Aisya's planning to go home this winter holidays
I talked to Ayah about going home but he said that it's better for me to go wander about in London than going home, which is 100000000000000 miles away
Takpela Ayah, ade Edward Lee.

I'm in Nottingham now, by the way, in Dijah's house

Stupidity is a choice

This is Jasmin offering me kueh Ikatan Kaseh. Hahaha.

Title macam kene ngn gamba kan? Haha. But trust me, tadek relation pon title ngan isi post.

Ni simbol ape? Ni simbol Ketabahan. Tak paham sudah. Haha.

If you look at the pictures and you don't know the girl, you might think that she's someone who've lost her mind because of severe depression. But the truth is, she is very TABAH. I doubt that she'll ever lose her mind, except on several occasions which happens quite frequently. Haha. I admire her ketabahan. I don't know how she handled it but she went through it like a juara. And still going through it, I should say. Hahahh. Amacam Min, terharu tak? Wakaka.

p/s: Thank you for showing your kawad gorilla + expression muka yang agak scary. I needed that. =)

Banyak post pasal pompuan nih. Could it be that I'm not as straight as I think I am? Hahahaha.

Just a thought

Don't treat people like vermin
You're not that great, anyway
You're not God, you're not a king
You're not even my superior
So why act like one?

Treat people as your equal
Don't look down to people
No matter how weak they are
No matter how fragile they are
No matter how vulnerable they are
No matter how stupid they can get
Just remember
Sometimes
Anyone can be weak
Anyone can be fragile
Anyone can vulnerable
Anyone can fall
Even you.

So
Be nice please.

Square hats.

Bukan maen due ekor ni. Haha.

Congratulations guys! =))

All those ridiculous and rather unnecessary BEL assignments and presentations,
The extremely strenuous FAR360 case study presentation
The over-packed time tables that pissed everyone off
Stupid final examination schedule that made everybody (almost) cried,
All those theories and points and words that we had to memorize,
All those unbalanced balance sheet,
All those sleep times we had to give up to study for quizzes and tests, and yet the test questions are like nothing you've ever seen before,
All those Nescafe Latte that you had to drink to keep you awake (although they didn't work on some people. Haha),
All those confusions about which group you're in (bukan aku sorang je lupe ok.)
All those last minute studies that drove everyone insane and yet we still do it,

Gila kan?
But hey, you've all gone through 'hell' with style. Haha.
Congratulations!

I heard that Degree is making everyone's a little bit loopy.
Sabo ehh. At least korang bleh gi karok!

Again, tahniah :)
Love you and miss you guys to bits.

XOXO

Currently I'm learning PPE dalam FAR400. Korang macam dah terer je. Aku tanye korang lah. Eh?

Hose and Bike

Something terrible happened to me yesterday.

I was on my way home to Roberts Way from a new friend's house sebab dia buat open house. (Thanks a lot Bel and Taufiq, although you're not reading my blog la kan). Aku naek basikal Aisya sebab bas lambat gila nak sampai and I know there will be a lot of drunk guys and gals up on the bus because it was already 10.30PM and it was a Saturday night. A perfect time for me to go home alone, kan? Haha. Stupid me. No, dumb is more like it.

Anyway, as I was cycling on the side walk at the right side of the road, aku nampak la ade sorang mat salleh laki ni macam tengah tuang air kat tepi tu. And it was as if he's holding something long, something like a pipe. You guys figured it out yet? As I went nearer to him, I saw that he was actually peeing and his _______ was ______ long. And he said to me, "Hello there, lovely day."DISGUSTING. Aku elak la kan, turun from the side walk pastu cycle kat jalan raya. It was kinda funny and friggin' scary at the same time. I was so lucky that he didn't turn around and fire his 'hose' at me. Memang kene samak/sertu/whatever la kan.

I thought I was gonna be safe after that. I thought wrong, apparently. Some dude, I dunno if he's drunk or sober, shouted at me but I couldn't hear him. Not because it wasn't understandable but it was because I didn't focus on my surrounding at that time. All I want, is to get back home away from all those drunk bastards. Dia jerit, aku tak dengar. Fine. Tiba-tiba, aku dengar ada orang lari-lari kat belakang aku. And I looked to my right, the same guy who shouted at me was jogging beside me and asked me if he could have Aisya's bike. And I said no. He asked me why and I said it's because the bike isn't mine. Luckily after that, he slowed down, thanked me, tapped me on the back with his finger (I think so. I soo hope that he didn't use a beer bottle). Some of you might ask," Why didn't you cycle faster?" SUMPAH TAK LARAT NAK KAYUH LAGI LAJU.I don't know why I answered his questions but I think it's the same case as Jasmin Anis being silly playing Q&A with Encik Rosli's 'creditor'. Babe, one thing in common, both of us can be a little bit jammed up here in our heads sometimes. Well I got jammed more often than you la kan obviously.

Alhamdulillah tu je yang jadi. I can't imagine what else they can do to me.

Yep, lesson learned. Definitely.

No wandering outside of the house after it gets dark.
If you wanna be safe on Saturday nights, stay home. Or maybe go to ASDA.
Haha.
Bye.

p/s: Aisya, thanks for the bicycle and gloves.

One last thing, maybe some you might say that what happened to me was nothing and I shouldn't even write about it, well go **** yourself.

A naughty video call session

Sesungut dah kluar eh Min?

OK lah gambar cantek pulak. Haha. Ooh la la.

The pictures aren't that naughty pon kan. Hahaha. Min pon tengah blogging jugak ni. Saje nk tiru. Miss you Seming! Wish I can provide your feet with a comfortable and fluffy 'pillow' but since the 'pillow' goes everywhere I go, there's nothing I can do about it. Haha. But you've got Potter Pillow. AKU TERINGAT KOT BANTAL AKU MASE NAK TIDO KAT SINI. YOU ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE THAT BANTAL. SAME GOES TO YOU, ALOYAH!

I have a picture of budak-budak Beril tapi unfortunately only Aloyah and Syaza yang pakai tudong. So nanti jadi gambar x-rated. Haha. Tapi muka Aloyah memang terbaek la. Hahah.

Rindu dowh karok. Dengar cerita sesi karaoke dah makin banyak skang. Jangan bile aku dah balek korang dah bosan plak kan. Memang kene laa. Pastu jangan nyanyi Melayu yang aku tak tau pulaaak. Aloyah Qaila Lin! Lagu Melayu/Indon baru kat karaoke ko update laa! Haha.

Paling aku rindu : Nasik ayam lemon, Tomyam Hidayah, Sup Cendawan Ali's Corner..eh,ke Ali Corner?

Numb3rs

One pleasant morning in Barclays Bank cawangan Hatfield..

I was waiting for my turn to see the person on the " I'd Love To Help" counter when she came to me and said...

Receptionist (Kathryn) : Yes, what can I do for you?

Hannah : Uhm, I opened up an account about a month ago with some friends. My friends have all got their cheque books and the pin code for their debit cards. But I haven't got my cheque book and pin number yet.

Kathryn : OK. Do you have your ID with you?

Hannah : I have my passport....

Kathryn : Lovely. And your account details?

Hannah : You mean this business card? ( Showing Kathryn a business card with my account number and sort code written on it.)

Kathryn : That's fine, thank you. Now if you just come over here, I'll get it all sorted out.

Hannah pon ikot laaa pegi counter.

Kathryn : Can I have your postcode please?

Hannah : AL10 9JQ

Kathryn : Lovely. And your date of birth?

Dengan confident yang tak main-main punya confidentnye....

Hannah : 26 August Eighteen eighty-nine.

*******************************

HAHAHHAHAHHAHA. I think she's really kind to keep a straight face when I said that my year of birth is 120 years ago. Malumalumalumalumalumalumalumalu

1989 = nineteen eighty-nine

1889 = eighteen eighty-nine

Naseb baek la xpayah sebot one thousand nine hundred and eighty-nine.

If numbers are humans, we can never be friends.

Money money fly away.

I have to submit ACR notes by tomorrow and I have 1 more key point to elaborate tapi sumpah malasss. Penyakit last minute from UiTM still bertakhta dalam diri.

Oh, Ogay(Haha.style kan eje mcm ni?), Aisya and I went shopping yesterday at a carboot sale in Elstree. For some reason, we miscalculated the distance from Roberts Way (my house) and Elstree. We thought Elstree was in the outskirts of Hatfield, which means that if we go there by the 3-pounds-all-in-Hatfield cab, it'll still be cheap. Sekali, amek ko. Roberts Way pegi Elstree 20minutes. Pastu cab tu taktau die isi pakai minyak ape meter naek laju nak mam. Tambang? Murah je. 26.90pounds. Dah la dengan si driver tak habes-habes cakap kitorang tak reti nak convert RM into 'british money'. Haha. bak kate Aniur, Sharir dan Oggy, "Teralur lulur di situ."

We arrived at the carboot sale at about 11 lebeih nak dekat pukol 12 kot. Carboot ends at 1pm. "Cantek." Dapat beli 2 dress nenek-nenek atau dalam bahase coolnye, vintage dresses and two pairs of shoes.

Ni Oggy kate buat terompah pegi bilik air. Nampak macam orang kaya.

I was happy when I get to buy this pair of wedges! But later I found out that one of the pair is missing a string/strap/whatever. So I cut the strap of the other pair in half and make a new strap (but shorter) for the strapless pair! *pardon my grammatical errors*

I don't know why on Earth I buy this dress. Naseb baek dah pakai okay.

I like this one. Macam baju kat blog Dayah. Haha.

We went to Oxford Street afterwards and on our way, miracle happened. When we touched our Oyster cards against the thingamagiggy in the bus (for the bus fare), nothing happened. By 'nothing happened' I mean, our credits in our Oyster cards weren't deducted. So FREE ride all the way from Edgware to Oxford Circus. It doesn't sound like it's a big deal, but when you're here, 26.90pounds for a taxi ride is ridiculous. Boleh beli banyak KFC kot, and bayangkan brape lame bleh karok dengan duet tu kalau dah convert jadi RM. It got me thinking, "ni mesti berkat bayar taxi mahal-mahal tadi."

Info tambahan: Hasil pertanyaan si driver taxi, kami dapat mendiscover maksud nama Ahmad Fahim iaitu good and understand. Duhhh. Hahahha. Macam Ahmad Faham je.

Yada yada yada

I should be reading my Advanced Corporate Reporting (ACR) articles now but penangan 2 pinggan nasik goreng makes me sleeeeeeeeeeeeepy. Kalau kene Milo McD memang goodbye la articles.

Oh! By the way, I found this list pasted on a door of a cupboard in Uncle Madi's house. Uncle Madi tu husband cousin ayah Ridhwan Khalid. It's about things to do to keep you happy. I only got half of it.

LOL #15

My favourite is #18.

The Nightmare Begins

I've attended my first ever lecture in UH. Advanced Corporate Reporting. Bunyi macam terer. Beforehand, I'm excited as hell.. until I saw the lecture slides. They weren't slides that lecturers in UiTM normally distribute to their students, you know the slides where you have ALL your notes there ready for you. The slides merely contain some key points from the lecture which I have a very hard time understanding them. Of course I blame the 2months vacation my brain had since my last lesson. Was it 2 months or more? Meh, more or less, my brain seems to be in extreme shock that it starts to vomit information the moment I read the first few sentences on the slides. Poor little brain of mine. I hope it didn't shrink. Yet.

The lecturer Helen Wagner was as strict as McGonagall and she has a stare that strongly reminds me of Miss Trunchbull (if you've seen Matilda, you'd know Miss Trunchbull) and she hates latecomers. Haha. Still, having her as my lecturer didn't scare me much. What I'm scared of is the coursework. It's nothing like the ones I did back in UiTM. Mase kat UiTM, boleh tiru je buku text takpon slides lecturer bagi. Kat sini harapan lah. Wagner told plagiarisms aren't at all allowed and if caught doing it, you'd be expelled...? Ntahlah, that's what I've heard. Plus, Wagner kept asking the students about what they've learned in the second year and about the current financial issues. By then, I realized how ignorant I am when it comes to financial news and issues. Sigh kenape la tak baca surat kaba.

Iklan.

Notes pon kena hantar. T_T

See the reading list? Those articles aren't as interesting as reading Facebook picture comments but like it or not, I have to read it and understand it and swallow it. Haha.

Please don't fail Hannah. 포기하지 마 Hannah-ssi! Come on brain, you can do it!

Rindu pulak rase blaja kat UiTM. Lecturer baek. Tido pon boleh, borak pon boleh, nganjeng lagi boleh. Takpe, I take this as a new challenge ha ha ha -_-"

Forever young, forever cursed.

This reminds me of you! Haha.

Anyway,

But the movie tickets here cost me GBP5.50.. ke brape tah. Tapi mahal la. Boleh beli fish and chips.

It's been ages since I've been in a cinema watching movies eating caramel popcorns with those crazy girls. I miss those moments. I miss watching shit scary movies like Histeria and The Last House On The Left with the girls and I'm usually the one with the popcorn box in front of my face. Chickenshit? Yep. No matter, the main point is, I MISS WATCHING MOVIES. Bosan kot tengok movie kat laptop. Nak nak bile Gom Player not responding. !@#$%^

Balek Malaysia lah tengok cerita ni. hahaha bodo hahaha.

Maddeningly confusing

How can you be the reason I cry and yet you're the person that I'll find to seek comfort?

How can I be mad at you and not mad at you at the same time?

I hope life's not a big joke 'cuz seriously, I don't get it.

I'm so bloody mad right now. I know it's more or less because of my PMS but PMS never bothers me as much as this. I don't know for how much longer I can hold my tongue and shut up.

Hope you're alright. It's kinda empty when we're not like how we was. But, whatever it is, c'est la vie! :)
